Tokyo Tokyo Tokyo
Currently in Tokyo for a week. It’s been a while since I last visited Japan and it feels great to be back again. There’s no place like Tokyo in this world, really. My first stop was to Shimokitazawa, known as “the other Harajuku” but with a more laid-back hipster vibe. It’s one of the best places in Japan to go for vintage shopping. Some of the shops reminds me of the ones in Melbourne, all gritty and packed with amazing retro items.
Just one of the many vintage stores in Shimokitazawa
Here at Omotesando, so many high end stand-alone shops that are not available in Singapore – Margiela, Saturday by Kate Spade and Isabel Marant, just to name a few.
Favourite coffee break, the motoya!
The famous Harajuku lane… not so busy on a week day.
I also met Tomoko, buyer from Vermeerist Beams! She’s such a nice lovely lady so glad to see her again.
More updates from Japan coming soon, in the meanwhile stuffing my face with ramen and all kinds of snacks that I don’t know anything about.
