Everyone needs some sun, sand & sea: Bali vacation diaries
This shall explain my lack of posts in the past few weeks. Wifi in Bali is pretty efficient, you are pretty much connected everywhere you go, but I was trying really hard not to touch my phone or computer while I was there.
Bali is about 2 hours away from Singapore by flight, practically everyone goes there or Phucket for a decent beach holiday. Can you believe it’s only my first time in Bali? Let alone Indonesia…
I like how places like that has the environment to ‘force’ you to relax, so all you do is eat, massage, surf, glued to the beach and do nothing.
My hat-to-go to shield away from the blazing sun – the Marni X H&M straw hat. It’s huge, but wished I managed to grab one of the limited edition embellished ones
The villa we stayed in – Eden Villa – unlike many other villas/hotels in Bali, it doesn’t have that traditional wooden decor, zen type of interior. It’s totally white and spacious, as if you’re in Spain or something.
Visit to Ayana Resort to check out the sunset at Rock Bar, the resort is gorgeous.
Missoni X Havaianas slippers, they can be found in stores now! Priced at SGD$89.90. By the way, this will probably be the only time anyone will catch me parading around in flip flops…
Alila Villa in Bali, this is at the Southern-most part of Bali, the ocean view is completely unblock and you can see the full horizon. The resort is situated at the hillside, not convenient to get in and out but the place is super quiet and peaceful – a lot of people travel here just to get married.
Till the next trip! It was an awesome 4 days and I really enjoyed the company (all 19 people!)
