Uniqlo X Celia Birtwell

If you walk into any Uniqlo stores in Singapore now you will probably be greeted by a lot a lot of psychedelic prints, way more than usual. That’s because the latest designer collaboration with legendary British textile designer Celia Birtwell has arrived in town. The range includes everything from dresses to bottoms to accessories in approximately 15 different textile patterns. This is not the first time Celia has worked with high-street mass retailers, her Topshop collection in 2006 sold out within minutes and she also partnered with Express (US) before.

For this Uniqlo collaboration Celia put focus on florals (for Spring!), the garments are a lot more straight forward and casual with basic silhouettes, think simple tees, long tanks and cropped pants. The full range is available in Singapore already and you can check out all the individual pieces here. Prices go from S$49.90 for the dress to S$16.90 for the bag.

i’m not a print fabric person, more of a clean lined one.

then, I saw this collection at the store and immediately brought the skort, so reasonably priced and pretty good quality, not sure how to rock it out but this range got me into floral trend effortlessly!
