Three Hot Trends for Menswear Spring/Summer 2013
The menswear show season might just be over, but here’s helping you stay ahead of the fashion curve with few great little insights for what’s in store when the weather gets warmer. Keep these in mind the next time you’re browsing for the latest fashions!
Neon – Neon’s been a big part of many designers’ S/S 2013 collections, from Salvatore Ferragamo to Gucci to Louis Vuitton, fluorescent tangerine and acid green will all be making a bold statement, especially on suit pieces like blazers and trousers. Use more subtle neon accents for a less obvious nod to the trend.
Classic tailoring – The strong British influence on the fashion world will make itself felt in the form of a return to classic materials and cuts: tweed blazers and flannel trousers will be what the refined gent will be wearing to work in the year to come.
Prints – Floral prints are always in vogue during the summer months, and in 2013 you can expect to see them mixed in with patchwork, stripes and postcard prints as well. Take a look at some of the men’s tees on offer from Original Penguin for a forward look at the graphic designs that’ll adorn your chest when the temperatures rise.
