Chocolate is such a joy to give and receive, it is almost fail-proof. Eyeing for unique quality chocolates with a nice packaging? Socks must be one of the most common Christmas Gifts and Happy Socks are one of my must-buy holiday gift every season. They are stocked now at the newly opened Threadbare & Squirrel at the tip of Bali Lane (near Haji Lane), priced at S$16 for each pair.
Another fail-proof idea – stationery. The most stylish and trendy stationery in town has to go to Kikki.K. For this Christmas they have came up with a Frost collection, inspired by Christmas in Sweden and founder Kristina Karlsson’s childhood memories. The wrapping kit on the left costs S$39.90 and the Frost collection wooden pegs in a bottle goes for S$12.90, find them at #44-46 ION Orchard or #01-17 Tampines Mall.
For Nail Polish fanatics – O.P.I. might just not be enough to satisfy – BUTTER LONDON has an internationally well-known nail polish & lacquer range (Kate Middleton is a fan!), which can be found locally at Soon Lee 73 Haji Lane. Each bottle costs S$28 and now they come in beautiful Holiday Gift packs which will definitely dazzle you.
Here’s something unique – PA(C)KRAT, a book with 5 different volumes each containing about 13 to 16 scanned wrappers from ALL kinds of things and a little folder at the back with about 4 to 6 stickers. Each costs S$12 and it is hand binded, stuck together, designed, etched and so on by Kelly Limerick (who’s super cool, creative etc.. ). You can find it at The Little Dröm Store at 7 Ann Siang Hill.
Baggu! How many times have you seen a baggu bag on someone? It’s everywhere these days but it’s difficult not to like the range of colors, their simplicity and versatility. Rockstar by Soon Lee at Level 3 Cineleisure has 6 new colors in store now priced at S$34 for the tote.
This is something for your artsy friend/sibling or any young ones. Get them to be creative with these super cute crayons from Muji priced at S$4.90 (left) and S$9.00 (right).
