The Cult of The Model

The February issue of British Vogue has served up that rare piece of article – one that involves the profiles of  high fashion models working today. Highly relevant to today’s fascination of models, thanks in part to the digital revolution, the daily grind of these models, from the work they’re receiving, to their personal lives, are all documented on various websites, particularly TheFashionSpot, an online fashion forum.

The Cult Of The Model manages to highlight that not only are models becoming hot commodities, they’re also being heralded as muses, mirroring back to the heydays of the 90s, where models dominated magazine covers and advertising campaigns. Perhaps this article signals the onset of another wave of supermodels? We sure do hope so.
