As a whole, the collection reminds me very much of Prada circa 01-04′— a lot of prints, colour-blocking and a few ‘safe’ pieces here and there. Does reference through the archives really prove to be a way to fight the economy?
Another must-notice, the casting of course. The show was in New York, so the newbies were all there shooting lookbooks, walking for presentations and runways now for the cruise/resort season. Liu Wen and Jourdan were there, plus a handful of unfamiliar faces. But the focus is better be directed to Hannah Holman, who closed the show.
Hannah is 18, hails from Utah, the US and already had quite a number of commercial campaigns/catalogues under her belt already: American Eagle, Urban Outfitters and Paul & Joe Sister.
She is going to be in the new MIU MIU campaign, shot by Mert & Marcus.

There are a lot of forgettable blondes around, but it has been so far so good for her, to be able to circle around the Miuccia camp is surely a major kick start for her.
