Victoria’s Secret models are getting a lot of hype these days making high-fashion cross-overs, thanks to fashion’s new obssession about curves last Fall show season. Alessandra Ambrosio is booked for the Moschino and Loewe campaign (with Adriana Lima) and Miranda Kerr, as previously reported, will be amongst the cast for the Prada campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel. Her print work have been pretty impressive so far, being shot by the likes of Willy Vanderperre, Mariano Vivanco, Inez & Vinoodh etc. It is going to take time for people to get use to Victoria’s Secret models being all serious and portrait differently in editorials.

I think many don’t mind the cross-ever, but it’s the hype surrounding these girls that make some shudder at the thought of them going HF. granted, Karolina got scouted by Miuccia and recently had the chanel campaign, and adriana did HF before going commercial, but miranda, although she can work it, had nothing HF about her resume.

+ i believe its the same as with the supermodel age, and since I didn’t experience that, it’s baffling to see all these hype.

yeah I have to agree to some extend about miranda, the way she poses in editorials (sticking out her ass and boobs in almost every shot) is very VS.
