Minimalism rocked The Golden Globe Awards

The Golden Globe Awards last night spelt out an unexpected trend on the red carpet that had certainly surprised the fashion watchers – minimalism. Tilda Swinton, the queen of simple, non-fussy dressing wore Jil Sander Spring/Summer 2011, and she simply looked striking and immaculate. Upcoming Spiderman star Emma Stone is another style winner that night, sleek and sexy in a backless Calvin Klein dress that matches her skin tone. Other celebs who picked minimalist gowns for the evening include TV actress Julianna Margulies, Claire Danes and Nicole Kidman (in Prada).
