Raining during red carpet must be a major turn off, think Cameron Diaz in a attention grabbing red McQueen number, only to spoil the picture holding a red and white umbrella (??!!!). But for the stars who carried it off, well they certainly aren’t human to stay glamourous and keep their spirits high in the drizzle.

There are quite a few surprise picks this year— Nina Ricci (Peter Coppings’ creations looked great on the red carpet), Christian Lacroix, Vionnet… just to name a few. There were 50 over stars who attended the Globes, but who doesn’t watch out for celebs in unconventional gowns? There are only so much Marchesas your eyes can take.
