Maybe the days where zombie like stick thin models at Prada are gone, for now. The Fall ’10 show is especially womanly (no better word). The casting of not one but three Victoria’s Secret Angels (Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr), plus The Lara Stone and two top italian models Bianca Balti and Mariacarla Boscono, is a far cry from previous seasons’. It’s like pulling a Givenchy, but a whole lot more. The shape of the dresses, together with the explosion of ruffles at the bust area even make stick thin models look curvy. Some of the fabrics (patent, knit) and the coats look like they came straight out of the mens collection, but it’s the printed dresses that will probably be the hot sellers, and flood every magazine publication in no time.
