Paris MFW begins— Juun J. , Dries van Noten Fall ’10

Juun J.

The coats in the first two pictures look like combination of cool, edgy, sartorial and casual. A tasteful mix of wardrobe essentials — a suit, a trench—, add on zippers at the edges and hands tucked into the pockets and voila! you get the look. It’s a very Juun J thing, mixing classic items with street fashion. This season might only be his 4th year in the Paris schedule, but the Korean designer is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with, churning out consistent collections that allow him to have his own identity in the menswear circus.

Dries van Noten

Dries did what he always does best— mixing prints, and his perfect vision of matching colours. There are loads of stripes and plaids, and a few must-have pieces, for example, the caramel double breasted wool coat in the second picture.
