What recession, the Chanel team is still holding their cruise and pre-fall shows at somewhere beautiful on Earth yearly— London, Moscow, Miami, Monte Carlo and now Venice. At this rate that they are going, they will probably be showing at Istanbul, Shang Hai next, just guessing some locations.

They are kick-starting the cruise/resort show season (exciting!) this Thursday, and Karl and crew had already arrived via

They are probably preparing for the show right now. Models confirmed for Thursday’s runway: Skye Stracke and Lindsay Ellingson, usual Chanel Cruise girls. And maybe Heidi Mount, Elsa Sylvan, Vlada and Tanya? As well as Lara Stone (walking Chanel for her second time EVER, if she made it) will probably be there since she starred in the teaser video shot by Karl:
