First Look: Singapore Coffee Festival 2016
Where you can café hop without moving!
Singapore’s first coffee centric festival has started. Held from today 10 June till 12 June, it is a unique hybrid event for both trade and consumer visitors.
The four-day festival is organised by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd (SPH’s events and exhibitions arm), presented by DBS and hosted by The Straits Times. Spread across two floors within the F1 Pit building, The Singapore Coffee Festival is set to an exciting festival first for coffee lovers who want to learn more about what goes into making a good cup of coffee, as well as those who enjoy café hopping and the café lifestyle.
Well-known cafes in Singapore like Chye Seng Huat, Common Man Coffee Roasters and Papa Palheta are part of the line-up of 100 exhibitors. Non-hipster kopi like Killiney Cafe has a presence in this festival too to add heritage and old school flavour.
The festival also includes fringe activities like music performances by local bands and reading sessions where you can listening to talks by journalists while sipping freshly brewed coffee.
The Singapore Coffee Festival runs from Friday to Sunday 10-12 June from 11am to 9pm at level 2 and 3 of the F1 Pit Building. Ticket starts at $18 with discounts available for DBS card holders. Find out more information about the ticketing right here.
