35 Photos of Art Stage Singapore 2014
The fourth edition of Art Stage Singapore opens today 16 January 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. This year they are presenting more than 158 galleries, a 20% increase from last year, in the usual museum-like layout. 75% of the exhibitors are from Asia, reaffirming the fair as one of the leading art event of the region while putting Singapore on the global art map. Art Stage will also be introducing eight country and regional platforms exhibiting a total of 70 projects. The largest platform comes from Southeast Asia, which is presenting 31 pieces of work from the region including Singapore.

Here’re some highlights from this year’s fair, the most instagram-ed and photographed pieces will most probably be South Korean artist Choi Jeong Hwa’s ‘Love Me’ metallic pink inflatable flapping pig and the (nearly rotting) ‘The Hundred Surnames in Tofu’ by Chen Qiulin.
