“Street Life” – Vogue Thailand

Vogue Thailand‘s first edition was launched about two weeks ago and within a few days every copy was gone. Other than that, Kullawit Laosuksri, the magazine’s editor-in-chief also made news as the first male to hold That Position anywhere in the world for the prestigious title. He definitely made it work.

Judging from all the editorials, it’s really nice to see how Kullawit sticks to local models and crew for the spreads, and he kept everything in balance. The cover is very Thai obviously. One shoot that stood out because a non-local face was used, is “Street Life” featuring Anais Pouliot with photography by David Bellemere, shot on the streets of Thailand. Anais is a French Canadian model known for being the face of ALDO shoes as well as Louis Vuitton Fall 2011. The model flew in to Thailand just to do the shoot around early January actually (as shown in her Instagram). What do you think of the editorial?
