After releasing a series of GIFs of models doing their thing for the “Haute Mess” editorial – Joan Smalls has emerged to be the cover star, with a hashtag #OVERTHETOP, pretty innovative agree? Note that it’s been exactly four years since the last black model appeared on Vogue Italia’s cover (July 2008′s all black issue).

Vogue Paris

Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova, who just turned 30, is on the cover of Vogue Paris for the fifth time. Mert & Marcus shot this black & white image. On another note, Natalia is currently dating Antoine Arnault, son of Chairman & CEO of LVMH Bernard Arnauld, and the head of communications for luxury brand Louis Vuitton.

Vogue US

And the rumors are true! Grammy winner and “Someone Like You” singer Adele is very much on the cover of Vogue US. It’s no surprise actually, since Anna Wintour has been a fan of her for years – she styled Adele when she made her Grammy debut three years ago.

Lana del Rey’s popularity in UK just keep on rising! Besides scoring the cover for the pretty major March issue of Vogue UK (a rarity for a industry newbie), she also has a Mulberry bag named after her. Definitely a style icon to watch!

Vogue Germany

Brazilian model Lais Ribero rocks the retro look and goes all 60s glam for the cover shot and the main editorial for Vogue Germany. This is her second Vogue cover ever after her debut on the Brazilian edition in January.

Hedi Slimane, the rumors new YSL designer, is back shooting for Vogue Russia again (he shot Arizona for the December 2011 issue), this time working with veteran Norwegian model Iselin Steiro.

It’s bombshell and bombshell! Supermodels Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly (first and second appearance on Vogue China cover respectively) are showcasing “The New Fifties” in Prada Spring/Summer 2012.

It’s an all italian invasion! Italian model Bianca Balti, current face of Dolce & Gabbana, rocks a bejeweled corset piece by the Italian brand for the cover this month for Vogue Nippon.
