Du Juan for L’Officiel Singapore November 2010

Chinese supermodel Du Juan was in Australia a few months earlier and worked with two local magazines – L’Officiel and Nü You – while she was there. Wee Khim photographed the covers for the September and November issues of the magazines, with the Chinese beauty all dressed up in Chanel and Louis Vuitton respectively.

    I knew the moment I saw L’Officiel at the stores that Wee Khim shot the cover. It’s such a shame that no editorial was included for the magazine though, because the shoots done for Nu You were gorgeous.

    Love Du Juan but both covers failed big time. The Harper’s Bazaar cover looks like an out-take of a shoot. Her hair is in her face and the lighting is awful. The second cover is over-shopped. It doesn’t even look like Du Juan at all. Epic failures!!
