Rodolfo Paglialunga appointed JIL SANDER Creative Director

Jil Sander Creative DirectorAs Jil Sander the designer herself exits her namesake label for the third time, the JIL SANDER Group has appointmented Rodolfo Paglialunga as the new Creative Director, just in time to produce the Spring/Summer 2015 collection for Milan Fashion Week in September.

Paglialunga is Italian, with tenures at Romeo Gigli in the early 90’s, then Prada for over 10 years as Womenswear design director and lastly and most recently, Vionnet as the Creative Director. Jil Sander is looking to be his biggest role yet, with the task to get the house back on track after the years of designer musical chair which saw Raf Simons parting ways with the brand (to Dior) and Jil Sander herself leaving the label again after returning for four show seasons.
