It is yet another futurism driven ad campaign from Balenciaga, very sci-fi and other-worldy. It looks like Elsa is about to go up the strange stairs, and her blank sleepy expression is also strange. The hint of light shining from the top of the stairs creates a very mysterious atmosphere, but the overall mood is simple and straight forward enough for such a Balenciaga collection. I really enjoy this first preview of the campaign, looking forward to see the rest of the seven girls’ individual shots in the upcoming months.
