Mary Katrantzou‘s creations look amazing on the runway and on celebrities, and her work must be every photographer’s dream to work with – think the explosion of prints, colours and patterns.
27 year-old New York-based photographer Erik Madigan Heck has shot a breath-taking series of painting-like images with Katrantzou’s Spring/Summer 2012 pieces. Some of them look like they came straight out of famous century old paintings (Girl with a Pearl Earring anyone?) and the artistry is just brilliant, check out his previous series with Mary Katrantzou Fall/Winter 11/12 “Surreal Planes”
