Marni Flower Market
Who doesn’t like a flower market? During the recent Milan Fashion Week, MARNI Prisma launched a year-long celebration of the label’s 20th anniversary with the opening of the Marni Flower Market, which was set up in the Rotonda della Besana.
There can’t be another installation more perfect than a flower market for Marni. Flowers have been such an essential part of the composite Marni language, it only makes sense that they celebrate their anniversary with… more flowers. The best part is – the people who went for the event were able to shop and bring home a unique souvenir. Items for sale include PVC vase holders decorated with Marni archive prints, Marni Flower Market shopping bags, printed Japanese porcelain pots and canvas aprons decorated with archive prints. The bad part is – it was a one time event which happened on 21st September last Sunday all the way in Milan and will not return until 2015 (we have word that it will be in Hong Kong next). Stay tuned!
