In details – Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2011

Written By on Jan 25th, 2011

It’s Couture, so the best way to appreciate the clothes is to zoom in to the details and admire the workmanship. The Chanel Haute Couture S/S 11 show was held at Pavillion Cambon Capucines instead of Grand Palais (seems like they prefer a smaller venue for Spring/Summer couture these years). Karl rolled out a delicate, ultra feminine and girlish collection with a soft colour palette and metallics. There are a lot of drop-waist silhouettes and also a number of light flowy looks which are pretty rare at Chanel couture.

Kristen McMenamy was the last model out and Stella Tennant walked in the show as well. The finale shot with all the models lined up is simply stunning.
