Giles to Ungaro
Written By Laila Lu on Apr 28th, 2010The designer merry-go-round is coming to its 5th stop at Emanuel Ungaro— Giles Deacon has been confirmed as the new designer post Lindsay Lohan and Estrella Arch’s short (and controversial) stint at the label.
If you check back on the history of Ungaro, it has been through multiple designers with very different design aesthetics. From Giambattista Valli to Vincent Darre to Peter Dundas to Lindsay+Estrella… well, let’s just hope that Giles, known for his eccentric and playful approach will stay long enough to stabilize the brand identity. Another season, another debut to watch out for!
