Frida Giannini’s 6 Fiercest Moments at Gucci

Gucci - Runway - Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2014

In a rather shocking news, Frida Giannini, the 8-year creative director of Gucci is departing the luxury house amid reports of profit losses. All those rumours aside, it’s pretty safe to say that an era is over in fashion. In the late 2010s, the Gucci show was one of the biggest highlights in Milan Fashion Week, setting the bar high in the glamour department. While Tom Ford left Gucci with an unapologetically sexy image, Frida is one huge bohemian lover. While that might not have worked out for her, there’re definitely Gucci moments under Frida that are worth remembering.

Starting from… her campaigns with supermodel Natasha Poly. Which usually look like this:

Her Spring/Summer 2010 collection which is by far her most forward-thinking, trend-setting collection. Sci-fi + sporty look, how does that relate to Frida?
