Written By Laila Lu on Oct 3rd, 2009Huge campaigns are mostly taken on by bigger names these days, Meisel, Mert & Marcus, Testino etc, so it is always nice to see new photographers getting commercial work and taking the role of a campaign photographer. Sebastian Kim made headlines when he shot for one of the Calvin Klein lines, and now Chadwick Tyler, mostly known for his editorial work in Dazed & Confused and V, was chosen to shoot the Levi’s Europe campaign. Set amongst the grime and glamour of Brooklyn Naval Yard, the images themselves pay homage to denim heritage and Americana, shot through with Chadwick’s own insidious beauty.
The campaign stars Josh Beech and Meghan Collison.
