Lanvin pour H&M

posted on September 3rd, 2010 · by Laila Lu · Add comments?

Leave it to H&M the master teaser to keep all we shoppers excited season after season. Lanvin? Who would have guessed. This is making us cultivate hopes that in future, even Jil Sander or Dries van Noten is possible (keep fingers cross).
Alber once mentioned that he will not do a second line (because “no one wants to be the stepsister”) and the most recent collaboration linked to Lanvin is Acne, but he seems to have a change of mind about fast fashion, that it’s “H&M going luxury” instead of “Lanvin going Public”.

If you are worried about not getting a piece of Lanvin x H&M when it debuts worldwide on 23 November, note that there might be a possibility the store is launching its first e-commerce site in September.

Current obsession: the Celine luggage tote

Jak & Jil for Style.com (right)

Earlier this year, I was set to get either the Mulberry Alexa or Proenza Schouler PS1, both have been much hyped about in the recent months. Maybe too much hype, I opted for the Celine luggage tote in Khaki, Olive and Black in the end. When it comes to bags, function and versatility are my main concern, and this tote just does it all — carrying my 13 inch Macbook placed horizontally or vertically, and spacious enough to carry a DSLR or an extra pair of shoes. The craftsmanship is incredible, from the outside to the inside (fully leathered)— an area which most bags lack in detail and quality of material these days.
