I am IN LOVE with the images – all the colours, the makeup, the styling… simply visually stunning, especially Meng Lu and Xin Yuan’s. i-D has taken a pretty brave step in casting ALL Chinese models and one of them will no doubt be the next big thing. There are more and more Chinese models in the market these days, with Sui He and Xiao Wen Ju the latest to take the modeling industry by storm.

Lindsey Wixson also has a solo editorial with a scary doll shot by Tim Walker.

Tim Walker photographed Finnish model Kirsi Pyrhonen in the exotic country wearing the current season’s latest looks from Givenchy to Haider Ackermann to Mary Katrantzou, styled by the magazine’s fashion director Kate Phelan. You might have seen many editorial shoot locations going as far as India or Africa, but somewhere as otherworldly as Mongolia still sounds like a first, and anything that contrasts high fashion with the surrounding environment tastefully still brings a lot of excitement to the pages. Lara Stone also made an appearance with “Divine Decadence”.

But of all recent editorials she’s done, my favourite one is this spread by Greg Kadel for Numéro #129, to be out on the newsstands soon. There’s something about the intensity that suits Karlie’s signature stare really well and the editorial proves that she still has all that high-fashion material (you know, since she’s done Victoria Secret recently…). She even managed to pull off those streaks of orange hair!

Watch Alessandra switching to high fashion mode, working the latest looks from Balmain, Chloe, Celine and more in lime green skin instead of the usual tan, a platinum bob instead of the usual wavy curls and yeah… bold silver lips.

Arizona Muse dazzles in a close up shot and a charming smile photographed by Inez & Vinoodh. The stellar issue includes a beauty special featuring the likes of Karolina, Izabel, Isabeli, Natasha Poly and more. No strangers to the mag Kristina Salinovic and Magdalena Frackowiak made an appearance in their own individual editorials. Terry Richardson lenses Natasha Poly and Lara Stone is seen in ‘Central Park,’ by Alasdair McLellan.
