A Victoria’s Secret bombshell starring in a Jil Sander campaign might sound like a bad combination, but Miranda has been muse to Willy for quite a while now ever since the Pin-up Girls inspired V editorial. Miranda’s shot is fantastic, love the peek-a-boo at one of the panels of the dress and the matching eye colour with the glasses.
I love the new campaign. It does stick to the signature aesthetic of its usual campaign feel. But for somehow reason I reckon that this season’s ads looks more refreshing and optimistic than jil sander’s previous ads. It still has the cool factor, but it seems to be softer.
I have to say, that Miranda Kerr photo for Jil Sander is my favorite ad campaign image this season. My other favorite is the Givenchy group photo in black, white and red.
