PHI to shut down
Written By Laila Lu on Dec 22nd, 2009The recession has claimed another victim— PHI, the six year old label based in New York, found by Susan Dell is shutting down by the end of this month. It’s a shame, under Andreas Melbostad the label was slowly getting recognized and becoming a force to be reckoned with. Critics love them and the front row-ers include an ‘it’ crowd of Lauren Santo Domingo, the Trainas, Carine Roitfeld and Anna Dello Russo.
And remember all the Meisel lensed campaigns? Fall 2008— Coco Rocha and Karen Elson, Spring 2009 — Kinga and Viktoriya, Fall 2009 the fiercest of them all— Natasha, Anna and Sasha.
