Remember the extravaganza at Moscow last year? For the upcoming métiers d’art collection, it is Destination Shanghai for Chanel on 3rd December. Smart move, because the Chinese’s hunger for luxury goods are growing, and holding a huge, well-publicized show (like Fendi – Great Wall of China) is set to tease the consumers’ appetite even further. It is going be interesting to see how Karl tackles the oriental theme, who are the guests and which model will open the show.

The Maison’s d’Art video is amazing. It really showed the intricate work that goes into beading and embroidery.
