What happened last Friday night.
The ‘runway’ venue of Wardroblings was full to the brim, and as we squeezed for a standing space, the models marched out of somewhere onto the very narrow walkway, in some GIGANTIC animal headpieces, holding signs that read ‘No outside food allowed‘ (huh?), ‘Animal have rights too‘ (huh?), ‘Please donate‘ (huh?), ‘Papa don’t preach‘… I haven’t heard of much good things said about the presentation from people who attended. One of the best LOL moments was when one of the models clumsily knocked a lady in the ‘front row’ with her elephant head. Ouch.

The animal heads didn’t do the clothes justice. It should be one of those highly anticipated shows where people scout for new talents, and the fresh graduates make good use of this opportunity to show off their work to important people.
One of my favourite is Jia Wen’s ‘Ugly.Beautiful’ collection of course, if you see the fabrics and detailing up close, it is really one of the stand outs, and the whole look from accessories to the shoes are perfectly matched.

An up close of the accessories. The glove, yum..

The rest of the designers and their collections:

Erika’s collection is memorable because it’s little bit like buddhist monks gone rock, very unique take on east meets west.

The second part of the event, Yumumu and Zeeta Apparel’s presentation. The artsy stage decoration is pretty cute and well made I thought, and they put in a lot of effort in the hair and makeup, it’s fun to watch.
