If I was a girl, you bet I would wear these. They’re the best Balenciaga shoes since the Autumn 06 ankle boots.

no.
i am not a fan of the sole of the shoe. if it were softer and less chunky i would like them..

Not even if I were a trannie from Transylvania.
But I do like it though — without the socks, of course.

actually on a second look the bottom part reminds me of some animal’s feet? Elephants?
But since it’s Balenciaga it’s all about cutting edge. Guess these shoes are gonna cost a bomb anyways.

i’d rather go barefoot, those shoes are hideous.

Hideous! However they do hand in hand with Nicholas G’s odd insect shell couture warrior whatever designs.Personally I never really understood the fuss over his creations at Balenciaga but then who am I to contradicte Anna Wintour and Charlotte Gainsbourgh.
And yes I agree they do look like elephant feet.

Hm the first ones are DEF a no, second ones… maybe yes.

I LOVE the last one!!!

urgh no. the sockless one, maybe… but as a whole, it’s just not their best.
fall’06 platform boots and spring 07 cork and metal heels ftw!
Lupussy Galore // November 5, 2008 at 11:52 pm |
I’ve a weak spot for platforms but this ones: ugh! NO!

i’m just waiting to see victoria beckham wear them in public to change my mind but until then…

I think the store version lost the meaning of the original shoes on the runway.
It is a definitely a no no. It ruined the whole design!
