Raf is bringing sexyback

There aren’t many ways to play sexy with restrictions of minimalism. Last Spring he did it with sheer and now it’s fringe, oh-so-Milan floor sweeping fringe. I have always associated it with trash, reminds me of some showgirls or Cavalli, but Raf must have seen a different side of it. It is incredibly sexy to have it draped and hanged strategically at certain body body parts (the look on Alyona) because it shows skin not in the exposing way and it has movement, unlike the stiffness of lace. And if you look closely, the execution is beyond magic. So kudos to him for that. Other than the fringe pieces there are the usual jackets and muted colours. But yes even the jackets are sexy, they are very low-cut, and the dresses are bare-backs, double sexy. This collection basically reminds me of how you can be seductive without trying too hard. It all lies in the taste level.
Actually, if not for the fact that Raf loves to design for good bodied women in mind, he could have fully won critics over. They always have problems with how only tall and extremely thin women can look good in his clothes, let say the fringe dresses this time. However it is also pretty smart of him to only show a few pieces of them, the others will surely appeal to fans of the label and the loyal customers.
