Following Ferre’s legacy

Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi’s debut for late fashion legend Gianfranco Ferré.

For once I thought I was looking at a couture collection, not only because I am amazed by the shapes but how unwearable some pieces are. Totally reminds me of couture. Just by looking at these pictures, you can get a feeling that they studied Ferré’s work and analyzed his architectural aesthetics. They even included two looks with white shirts, something which the late designer was known for. At some point I feel that they are pushing too much to prove themselves, that they are capable and worthy of filling such big shoes but what a great first outing. It definitely didn’t disappoint.
