Remember how, for Spring/Summer 08′, almost every model has to do the same jumping pose to give those flowy Lanvin gowns the best shot?
These Balenciagas are clearly the current editorial must-haves. I like seeing them, but would like it more if the models don’t look so stiff in them all the time. You know, it’s only June (July soon) and you don’t wanna get bored looking at the same thing over and over again…
They are gorgeous but I’m not sure how comfortable they are to wear.
The black dress in the first photo is one of the most beautiful. The cut and shape are stunning on Raquel Zimmermann.
The best looks in the show… The play with volume on the abdomen is just exquisite, definitely the seasons` outfits to go in history.
That said, it would be nice if they were used in images with more narrative ambitions… Otherwise you could just print sihuettes from the show.
Although I love the structure and the construction of the fall collection I adored his spring collection with the soft prints and hard lines.
Regardless it is visually stunning, although the models make me feel claustrophobic looking at them which isn’t a pleasant sensation.
