* List to be updated
Highlights:
- It will be the first time that Alexander McQueen is going to have an ad campaign and he has chosen fellow brit Alice Gibb, who opened his Spring 08′ show, as the model.
- After losing Chloe S/S 08′ to Craig McDean, Inez & Vinoodh has lost another— Valentino, the job goes to Peter Lindberg. (Check out ‘seeing double’)
- Both Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly have landed 5 major campaigns with all five different photographers, the most out of all other models.
- Balenciaga’s campaign would be fronted by a celebrity (Charlotte Gainsbourg), for the second time running.
- Bulgari has dropped Stam, fellow canadian Julia Dunstall replaces her. Karlie Kloss is up for Bulgari fragrance.
- While Nicole Kidman is going to be a mum, Audrey Tautou will be the new face of the iconic Chanel No.5 fragrance.
- Best newcomer: Aline Weber— Benetton, D&G, M Missoni, Moschino
- Toni Garrn, the German stunner who has been Calvin Klein’s world exclusive for two straight seasons, is apparently not doing well in the editorial market. Besides not getting enough print work/covers, she was dropped from being the face of Calvin Klein’s main line to cK jeans and also fronting Jill Stuart, who counts Lindsay Lohan as its past campaign stars.
