I adore the Scottish influence in this collection. This is a rather simple ad so the focus is totally on the clothes and how Gemma translate that ‘power’ look. Her baby-face still works for designers, she currently under two FW0708 campaign— Valentino and this JPG. I can’t wait for her acting debut ‘The Strangers’!
Chanel
model: Freja Beha
Appearing in Chanel’s ad for the second consecutive time means only one thing— Freja Beha is currently one of Karl’s muse. This ad is a complete contrast from the SS07 ones which are much lighter in tone.
Yves Saint Laurent
models: Gisele Bundchen, Snejana Onopka
Can’t really see Gisele’s face and she looks kind of solemn here. Snejana’s eyewear ad’s pretty innovative– holding a pooch like what some celebs do to give that glam look.
Lanvin

Isn’t this the coolest ad campaign ever? Her poses reminds me of a question mark (?) but most importantly, it shows off the amazing silhouettes & shapes of the clothes so well! I also love the simple black background which contrasts with the the colours of the clothes. Lanvin is simply magical.
Givenchy

These classy, smoking-hot photos goes well with the style of this collection, which is slightly masculine and features very smart & sleek suits.
Miu Miu
model: Laetitia Casta
After last season’s Lindsay Lohan, Laetitia Casta has been picked to star in this FW0708 ad campaign. She looks good in this seductive pin-up girl look but this collection is rather mellow right?
Chloe
models: Shalom Harlow, Anja Rubik, Freja Beha
Looks almost exactly the same as last season’s? and it feels like a low budget ad with high profile models. Freja Beha is finally being featured in a Chloe ad… I think Raquel looks better in it though.
Celine

This new collection has got a biker-chic look so check out how cool are those leather gloves, boots, bag. A completely different style from last season’s more soft & feminine look featuring Leah de Warvin in its campaign.
Fendi

Being under a six-month contract with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino only means that she’ll be featured in a slew of high profile campaigns. After Versace and Donna Karan, she replaces Julia Stegner as the face of Hugo Boss. Watch out for this promising rising modelling star.
