Marc Jacobs campaigns have always been controversial. It’s definitely not going for glamour but instead use creativity to catch people’s attention. That works though, remember last season’s ad featuring Dakota Fanning? Everybody was talking about it.

Hartje, Olga and Alyona photographed by Jurgen Teller.
Somehow I feel that it represents how Marc Jacobs transformed from his previous chubby frame to the current super buffed form. He has shrunk, so did his designs and ads.
Magnified version:

Prada cruise ‘08

The burst of colours & floral prints has a vintage and country feel, ultra feminine & ladylike. It’s really unexpected from Miuccia Prada. Her designs are more upbeat and modern nowadays but this resort collection is a throwback to the 80s’. On the other hand, the key looks are so not for the urban women (think walking in New York Times Square in one of those floral dresses) but it’s more suitable for travelling? Shopping? Or just a visit to a friend’s weekend party.
Seriously, I wouldn’t mind getting any of those pieces and just take a walk at a nearby park right now.

The most talked-about celeb collection of the year has just gotten a few more fans in…

Leggy blonde Cameron Diaz donned the same black halter mini that Kate Moss modelled on UK Vogue’s April issue at her Madrid photocall for Shrek 3.

Selma Blair wore this very popular white summer dress waaaaaaay before it’s available in US Barneys for sale. How did she get it so fast? Apparently, it was a gift from Kate Moss herself to the actress!
