Marc Jacobs campaigns have always been controversial. It’s definitely not going for glamour but instead use creativity to catch people’s attention. That works though, remember last season’s ad featuring Dakota Fanning? Everybody was talking about it.

Somehow I feel that it represents how Marc Jacobs transformed from his previous chubby frame to the current super buffed form. He has shrunk, so did his designs and ads.

yeah, this one definitely got my attention as I was flipping through the latest Elle the other day. It’s over the top for sure, but I think there’s a place for it – I like that someone pushes the envelope, even if it is blatantly using sex to sell handbags. definitely not boring!
