last season’s pre-fall campaign. At first glance, it does look like a movie poster for a R-rated film. Some countries banned this ad campaign and it attracted a lot of controversy.

I thought I was the only one who thought that Dolce & Gabbana ads were too sexual. You don’t need to use sex to promote a fashion ad campanige ad.

Dolce and Gabbana can use whatever they want to promote their clothing, as a matter of fact using a racy, edgy, editorial image promotes their clothing they way they want it to be promoted. It’s called marketing, D&G’s clothing wouldn’t have the same high fashion image if they slapped some fat, ugly, fully clothed boring girl and 80 year old guy in their ads. It’s high fashion, take it or leave it, maybe you should leave the fashion magazines on the rack for those who will appreciate it.

the whole point is to be noticed, if people didn’t care what kind of image these pics portrayed then everyone would just flip by and never notice what it is they are actually advertising. i myself could care less, and i’m sure the people in the pictures could care less, so who exactly is being offended here?
